Michael has spent his entire career in the insurance field. He began his career in 1988 with Guardian’s S&W Agency (now known as Strategies for Wealth). Over the past 30+ years, he has earned a reputation for his industry knowledge and expertise, his commitment to his clients, and his overall passion for his life’s work.

Michael, President & CEO of Silver Lining Insurance Agency, Inc., is responsible for new business development, as well as client relations and sales. He is a committed advisor and helps our clients make educated choices on what product or service best suits their wants. Over the years, his practical experience and proactive approach have allowed him to advise both individuals and businesses on how to identify and manage their level of risk.

Michael holds a bachelor’s degree from George Washington University and Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU), Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC), and Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) designations. Michael was raised in Livingston, New Jersey, and returned to raise his family. In 2019, Michael and his wife of 30 years, Daena, moved to West Orange, NJ. 

Through the years, Michael has been an active member of numerous township committees and has sat on the Board of his local synagogue, where he served two terms as President. In 2012, Michael was elected Councilmember to the Township of Livingston, and in 2014 and 2015, he served as both Mayor & Deputy Mayor. Michael is also active in several other philanthropic endeavors.
